The National Skill Certification and Monetary Reward Scheme
The National Skill Certificate and Monetary Reward Scheme : This is a NSDC initiative. The objective of this Scheme is to encourage skill development for youth by providing monetary rewards for successful completion of approved training programs. The program provides Monetary Awards for Skill Certification to boost employability and productivity of youth by incentivizing them for skill trainings and reward candidates undergoing skill training by authorized institutions at an average monetary reward of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand) per candidate.

Employment Generation and Marketing Mission

Employment Generation and Marketing Mission is a society set up by the Department of Rural Development of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government to provide employment to the rural unemployed youth. The entire approach is a bottom-up approach, tailored to move the rural poor from the unorganized to the organized labor market. The brand EGMM has been built by its innovative products developed like the country’s first Grassroots level English, Soft Skills & Computers Academy, Textile Training Academy, and Security Academy. EGMM has also customized the trainings linked to new investments like Rural BPOs, SEZ’s manufacturing units, etc.

Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas

The Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMAM) is a Government of AP Society forming part of Department of Municipal Administration & Urban Development. The objective is to promote, strengthen and nurture self-sustainable institutions of the poor and through them, address all poverty issues like access to credit, financial freedom, health, disability and vulnerability. To enable the urban poor particularly the poorest of the poor to eliminate poverty and vulnerability in a sustainable manner and improve their quality of life in urban areas. The main motto of MEPMA is that socio economic development of urban poor should be done a through a participative model.

Aliah University is an autonomous university under the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal. The objective of Aliah University will be to offer, encourage, promote, and expand the opportunities of higher education in modern technological and professional courses along with the classical languages, oriental studies, religious studies and Islamic culture, comparative religion and interdisciplinary studies among the socially and educationally backward Minorities of the State. Aajeevika Skill Development Programme

Aajeevika Skill Development Programme by Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society: was launched by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India in June 2011. The Mission aims at creating efficient and effective institutional platforms of the rural poor enabling them to increase household income through sustainable livelihood enhancements and improved access to financial services. The basic purpose of this initiative is to harness the potential of the occupational aspirations of the rural youth from weaker sections of the society in order to improve the income of the poor in rural areas.

JobsAcademy, in collaboration with NSDC & NVEQF has launched the pilot project in Haryana State. It involves the extension of vocational education to secondary level (classes 9-10), in addition to higher secondary level in government schools (classes 11-12). Moreover, certification for these courses and trades offered in the vocational stream of schools, will all be jointly done by government and the private sector, so that youth can then be easily employed by industry.
